Emma Raducanu shares lovely message on social media

 

One  day before she was supposed to start qualifying for the Grand Slam, Emma Raducanu announced her withdrawal from the French Open.

Despite not being impacted by an injury, the 21-year-old British player chose to skip the Paris competition to keep herself healthy for the remainder of 2024.

Raducanu’s ranking was insufficient to get her into the main draw at Roland-Garros, and she was not awarded a wildcard despite having won the US Open once before. Instead, she would have needed to go through qualification.

Raducanu recently appeared in a stunning advertisement for the Dior line of beauty products that featured a powerful message. While working behind the scenes on the Le Baume film, she gave some life advice.

She wrote on Instagram: “Never stop playing means that life is a game, so treat every single moment like one. Have fun with it. Don’t always take it too seriously and work hard at the same time.”
